Service Description
The Professional Services Contract is the document by which a person or legal entity ("company") hires another person ("contractor") to provide services in exchange for monetary compensation. This contract is for anyone operating a business in Puerto Rico who wants to hire professional services personnel to obtain maximum legal protection. To reserve your contract, a non-refundable consultation fee is required. If you retain our services, this fee will be credited toward your case fees. Services included: 1. Consultation with an attorney from our firm. 2. Analysis of your needs. 3. Preparation of a customized professional services contract in accordance with Puerto Rican law. 4. Discussion of the contract's content. 5. You will receive your customized contract in Word and PDF formats. Terms: 1. This service does not include contract negotiation, as these are additional services beyond drafting. 2. This service includes advice only on matters related to the contract being prepared; it does not include advice on matters unrelated to the contract being prepared. The cost of any additional steps required after drafting the document (if any) will be provided to you after we have analyzed your case, notified you of our decision to provide the service, provided you with the terms and conditions, and received your acceptance. **This consultation does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Such a relationship will only be established when: any potential conflicts of interest have been reviewed and eliminated; a representation agreement has been formalized; and you receive confirmation from one of our attorneys regarding your acceptance of the representation agreement, its scope, and your consent.**
Cancellation Policy
1. Legal consultations are offered at a fixed rate per half hour, payable in advance. The consultation fee is due upon receipt of the full amount and is subject to the cancellation and refund policy outlined in our terms: (a) You may reschedule the consultation for any reason, provided it is done up to 48 hours prior to the consultation; (b) No refunds will be issued if you cancel within 48 hours of the consultation; (c) Law Office PR reserves the right to cancel the consultation at our sole discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued. 2. The client is responsible for connecting on the reserved day and time and will only be allowed 10 minutes. Failure to appear for the consultation without prior notice or postponement will result in no refund. 3. If the consultation exceeds 30 minutes, it will not continue until payment is received for the next half-hour period ($75.00 per half hour). 4. Even though we provide you with a legal consultation, we reserve the right to accept your case and represent you. 5. This consultation does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Such a relationship will only be established when: any potential conflicts of interest are reviewed and eliminated; a representation agreement is formalized; and you receive confirmation from one of our attorneys regarding your acceptance of the representation agreement, its scope, and your consent.
